Globalisation and The 2nd Machine Age : Myths, Realities and Challenges of Educational Leaders
Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB), Ministry of Education Malaysia is delighted to welcome you to the 4th Regional Conference on Educational Leadership and Management (RCELAM) 2015 which will be held on 16-19 November 2015 at Institut Aminuddin Baki, Genting Highlands, Malaysia. The main aim of this conference is to elicit the views, ideas, thoughts of experts, scholars, researchers, strategists, and futurists in the field of education and to share them with current and aspiring educational leaders.
The conference theme "Educational Leadership & Management: Exploring New Possibilities" suggests the needs for paving new directions in educational leadership to meet future challenges. The imminent flat world opens up new frontiers of leadership and management knowledge that need to be fully understood and internalized by leaders in order to become more competitive in producing holistic students. The conference recognizes the growing complexity and challenges of leading and managing educational organization in the midst of relentless change and innovation. In a globalized world we need a wide range of possibilities for future development in education and society from diffferent perspectives. It is hoped that this conference will provide that much needed complement for educational leaders given the expanding and increasingly complex condition that face educational managers and school leaders today. RCELAM is a forum for the presentations of advances in research in the field of educational leadership and management in this region and other parts of the world.
